I was pleasantly surprised by the upgrades. In the past I wasn't overly impressed with my room, the pool area had a very harsh chlorine smell and the pool was almost to cold to swim in. Kudoz to the owner for the upgrades. We have our daughters coming from Oklahoma in a couple of weeks and they will be staying at Eastwood Inn. I'm sure they will be happy.
By no means this is a luxurious hotel, but it has what you need. Clean bedroom and friendly staff. I read some people thought the beds were uncomfortable, but to me it was fine. The room I had I didn’t notice any funny smells or mold, so my experience was better. I don’t think all rooms have a fridge because last week the room I was in didn’t have one and this week the room I was in has a fridge, so be sure to request one if needed. The TVs in the rooms are pretty nice flatscreens so no problems on that front.
Pleasantly surprised! I'll admit I was skeptical when I booked this room, but it turned out to be quite nice. My room was clean and appeared well kept. The bathroom towels were fantastic, large and nice and soft. Bed was comfy. I didn't have a chance to use the pool. The breakfast included waffle batter and a waffle iron, muffins, yogurt, cereal, juice and that type of thing. Unfortunately they didn't have oatmeal, my breakfast staple. Overall I would definitely recommend this over similarly priced hotels in the area. The best part was the stack of Bibles available in the lobby... Once upon a time every hotel room had a Bible in the nightstand. America was a better place to live back then. Go figure.
This was the perfect place to stay while renovations were going on at home. Very nice staff. Clean rooms.
I am so impressed with the kindness of the ones working here and the quality of the accommodations. Got stuck for a day in Staples and decided to stay here. I missed my shuttle to get back to the station, and thought I'd have to walk the seven mile stretch between the station and hotel, but the front desk worker offered to take me to the station on his next break. Such a self sacrificing gesture and completely unnecessary decision from him, but it made my experience all I needed that day. I'm glad I got to feel so lucky.
I enjoyed my stay. We came up to visit family, my first room was not up to my pare and without hesitation the gentlemen moved us to a room that fit my standards (without any issues) perfect customer service. He offered my whole family of 8 (visiting) eat in the breakfast area so we were able to be comfortable eating dinner together and enjoy our time. The whole staff is very friendly an made the stay the best possible. We will be back
